Oh man, the crisis in Haiti is crazy... they just had a SECOND earthquake! As if they needed that! This world is getting harder and harder to live in. I keep hearing about these horrible events... it's quite frustrating to be unable to control any of it. Lord, please come soon! Take us home, where everything is better than any eye has ever seen, or any ear has ever heard, or any mind has ever conceived. Beyond anything we could imagine. I can't wait.
But in the meanwhile, I got things to do. Stay busy while I wait for our Lord and Savior to take us home. Let's do all we can to help those suffering in Haiti, and more than anything lift up prayers for them to find consolation and a feeling of security that I'm sure is nowhere to be found at the moment.
Some of the footage showed people getting rescued from the rubble... they had been stuck in there for a week, with no food or water, breathing nothing but dust and debris, and came out singing hymns or cheering. So awe-inspiring. What a corageous people.
May the Lord strengthen and protect those that are having to deal with these traumatizing events first-hand.
