bAngola is moving into the next level - quarterfinals!!! They've played really well, except for today's game... they were total slackers and they tied 0 - 0. You could tell the teams had struck a deal that they would tie so that they both could advance to quarterfinals... since they were both at the top of their group... which made for a boring and frustrating game for the fans. Glad I saved my seven bucks and just watched it at home on the tv... they were totally mediocre.
But the important thing is that they're advancing. Here we go, Round 2. More excitement to come as we aim for that trophy!
In other news, I got off at noon today from work with high hopes of getting all my laundry done and doing all the grocery shopping I need to do... but that did NOT happen... I got home and started playing with the baby (Chinha leaves him here so the maids take care of him during the day), and then I dozed off on the couch, and then people started arriving to watch the game... and then I just didn't get around to doing anything fruitful before gametime. So here I am, about to go to sleep, and my mind is busily going over mental to-do lists and I'm nearly kicking myself for wasting a WHOLE free afternoon. But oh well, it's good to sit back and relax every once in a while. I'll just have to make time for everything else as soon as possible :)
Today I saw the pics of CK's inauguration on fb and the vids on youtube. I LOVED them! Thanks for doing that my dears!!! I must've gone through them all like 5 times... QUE NOSTALGIA ME DAAAA!!!! But seeing the pics and vids definitely made my heart glad :D
Ok... let me get some sleep... this whole half-day thing just threw off my rhythm and keeps making me feel like it's still the weekend... but alas, tis a weeknight and I must get some sleep so I can be wide awake at work tomorrow.
Hasta manana!
