MONDAY'S POST:
Pretty laid back day today... Just working and working trying to get everything settled before I leave. I have so much to wrap up in order to be ready to hand my position over... but I'm SO ready to move on to the next level. God willing, I'm gonna learn SO much in just a year to a year and half, judging by the training program the managers are putting together for me.
But more than anything, I'm looking foward to my vacation. AAAHHH! The days are dragging by SOOOO slowly. 9 days to go still? UGH! It seems like forever!
Anyways, I worked like a dog, got home, changed out of my clothes. Ate pb&j sandwiches for dinner (leave me alone... there's no need for gourmet meals EVERY day, lol) and then one of my friends from church came over and we exchanged some music material. After that, I pretty much entertained Edson (Elsa's away on vacation and the Tio and Tia are in their own little world most of the time... so Eddy and I are left to our own resources, lol) til it was time for bed. Then we went to bed. Oh, and he wouldn't go to sleep until I sang to him, and in my sleepy daze I came up with the most random playlist of songs from the hymnal, broadway, and I'm ashamed to admit... at one point I sang a chunk of that song "Sometimes I run, sometimes I hide, sometimes I'm scared of you. But all I really want is to hold you tight..." by Britney Spears. Then I snapped out of it and I was like, 'why in the WORLD am I singing this?' lol... but I have a perfectly good explanation! A little bit before going to bed I had checked some facebook updates and I believe someone (I think it was Hifsy) had posted something about that song being from back when she still liked Britney Spears... so I guess it somehow got into my subconscious and manifested itself as I was dozing off... lol. Just shush with your smart-aleck comments... it worked, ok? Eddy fell fast asleep!

That's pretty much it for my Monday. But fret not... my blogs will get much more exciting in just 9 days!!!
